Well, that's not the whole truth, in my opinion. Yes, for the moment it is the best if you want to immortalize the moment. But with the proper equipment the photo would be better. To be honest, about 90% of photo’s I take nowadays is taken by phone. I rarely see the effort of carrying my DSLR equipment with me. Mainly these occasions are some events or night photography.

And of course a big part of photography is the editing. For this I've used Lightroom, Photoshop, Gimp and Canon's own software Digital Photo Professional. And since I've also shoot some video material, Premiere and GoPro's Quick editors are also familiar.
